So why does a Nice Guy like me love the movies? Because of the romantic themes of Somewhere Over the Rainbow.....It Had To Be You....Tonight and Somewhere (West Side Story)....Thank Heaven For Little Girls. That's why I'm here on Plenty of Fish-to find you, the woman who will share my hopes, dreams and wishes for the future. I do ask that you do not be put off by my age....I've been told I look younger and I KNOW I act younger....it IS just a number, isn't it?
I LOVE TO LAUGH and have a terrific sense of humor.....and desire the same from you. I am a spontaneous individual....always eager to do something spur of the moment....hop on the trolley for a Padres game....take a train to LA......go to the theater on the night of the show and hope I get a good seat. I'm hoping to find someone here who would like to go up in a hot air balloon...not to push me out; but to experience the incredible view.
I believe in honesty, integrity and a willingness to communicate. I'm a cuddler, a hand holder, a door opener, and I'll give you my last shrimp. I'm not too bad at massaging the tension out of your neck and shoulders, and I'll throw my jacket over a puddle so your feet don't get wet.
I love family gatherings and hope you do, to. My daughter is a photographer living in New York. The photo with my 3 grandchildren was taken by her. My soft spots are children, older people and animals (in particular, dogs); if anyone is deserving of unconditional love...it is them. My yorkie, Molly was a rescue dog....she came from a puppy mill, and luckily I was at the Humane Society when she was up for adoption...what a loyal and loving friend she is.
Currently I am pursuing volunteer work....Meals on Wheels, RSVP (Retired Senior Voluntary Patrol) and Make A Wish....I enjoyed retirement, but I felt the need to do community service.

I'm an easy going guy....I enjoy eating out, live theater, films (mostly foreign and indies)....sports (you being a Dodgers fan would be a huge plus)....concerts.....walking (plenty of trails here in SD)...comedy stores

The greatest job I ever had...being a government employee for the last 21 years of my working life. A letter carrier in San Diego...could it get any better?? It was a joy to get up every morning..of course, now, it is a joy to get up when I want to

I am Jewish, but not a practicing one....I am much more of a spiritual individual.

Graduated from Fairleigh****nson Univ in 1968, and 10 years later earned a teaching credential from San Diego State.

Favorite eateries?? DZ Akins....Fish Merchant....Boat House.....Stuart Andersons.....of course IHOP, for breakfast. I'm retired and ready to travel...wish list?? Israel...Viet Nam...China..Ireland...African safari...Hawaii...and CRUISES, anywhere.

Just read a fascinating biography of Jackie Gleason...mmmmmm...how sweet it was. What a character, and what a story; from a very poor and humble beginning.....to one of the most beloved comics of our time.
