I enjoy sports, both collegiate and professional. I'm a Cubs and Bears fan and have season tickets to UI football and basketball games. I enjoy listening to music and have a fairly vast music collection of many types of music. I enjoy photography but must admit that I haven't really pursued it as a hobby for a while. I enjoy playing board games, card games, trivia type games,and dominos. I enjoy getting together with friends and just hanging out. I'm nearing retirement but can't see myself doing it in the near future. I think I have good sense of humor and enjoy nothing better than a good laugh. I watch too much television but I think that partly comes from living alone for quite a few years. I have a 25 year old son who is an incredible human being and who makes me very proud. My taste in music is very diverse. Some of my favorite artists are Bob Seger, Delbert McClinton, Jimmy Buffett, Andrew Lloyd Weber (his musicals), Frank Sinatra, Journey, The Temptations. Actually, this list could go on forever. I have been fortunate to have lived all over the country and to have visited many countries over my career so I have a fairly diverse experience level for a "kid" from small town Illinois.

I think there are two responses here. I see the first meeting as very casual, meeting in a public place with no pressure on either party to make it special. If that goes well, then I like the idea of a nice dinner and maybe a show (maybe a movie, maybe a performance type). I can do the jeans and polo shirt type thing as well as suit or sport coat and tie.
