I am adventurous and love to try new things (so it is hard to actually list all that I enjoy doing); passionate in everything I do; love to laugh and make others laugh; can be serious when I need to be; honest to a fault; caring; and nurturing. I have been told that I have a quirky sense of humor and can be rather sarcastic at times. I love the simple things in life, but can appreciate the finer things in life as well. My passion is cooking healthy, yet tasty food. Now don't think I am a complete health nut.. I do have kids ya know, and they are the toughest food critics there is! lol I guess a kitchen to me is like a blank canvas to an artist, and food is my medium.

Eventually I would like to find someone to date long-term, but I know that the best relationships are built from the ground up. So, I don't mind the "friends first" approach to things. I am pretty upfront with how I am, what I need, and what makes me tick.. an "open book" if you will. Don't mistake my candid honesty on a first or second date as, "I want to move in with you yesterday"; but if we aren't on the same page, then why waste each others time? Isn't it better to know that you are on the same page and just see where the chips fall after that?


Just to clarify.. I am in the midst of a divorce.. Not because it is "messy", but because my ex is in the army and keeps getting deployed. We have been separated since nov 2007. We just decided we were better friends than lovers. At least I am honest, even though it seems to be biting me in the bum right now... I would rather be honest and deal with things right off; than tell people stuff that they want to hear to stroke their egos, or just to get what I want. I did mention I was honest to a fault, didn't I? :)
