Everyone always says the same thing in these profiles! Are we all really funny, outgoing, and all that good stuff? No one is here to play games? :)

I like to find the humor in everyday things, and have a dry, sarcastic side. I spend time working (I like to eat & have a roof over my head) and when I'm not working I like to cook, travel, read, work on projects around the house, yard work, look for antiques, and go for long walks and hikes. I'm happy to watch "the game" on TV and enjoy sports more in person.

Goals? what are those...I'm reasonably happy in my career (IT business analyst), own my own home, have pets, have friends, don't usually kill plants, and am looking for someone to share in the "big" things as well as the everyday ones.

Music: I like classic rock, newer pop/rock, some oldies, some jazz (big band), some world music, and classical music (romantic & 20th century).

TV: Top Chef, Amazing Race, The Office, Top Gear

Movies: Kevin Smith movies, non-American Jackie Chan, anything with George Clooney, old Doris Day movies, most comedies & action

I see that this site doesn't have a "Not Interested" reply option, but I would appreciate a message back saying "thanks for your interest" or something! makes it feel like messages don't just go out into never ending cyberspace...

Last but not least, I have 3 cats, so if you're a fraidy cat (ha ha), don't like them, or are allergic, I will pick them over you at this point :) so sadly things won't work out - just putting this out there as it can be an issue

I like a first date where we can talk & get to know each other, not a club, noisy bar, or movie. A nice neutral location :). How about Switzerland? OK, probably not practical. I prefer weeknight dates for a drink or coffee, they seem more casual and less pressured than a "weekend date".
