From March to September, I bicycle on the Katy Trail. I ride around 1600 miles during that time on an inexpensive bike ($350) wearing cargo shorts and a tee shirt, no spandex for me. My daughters gave me such clothes but I like my dress. From September to March, I exercise in a gym. During the fall and spring semesters, I take a college course for credit. All courses are in technology as that is how I make my living. I have done this for the previous six years. I am not seeking a degree as I have two masters’ degrees. I enjoy learning. I am quiet and not the most gifted maker of small talk, preferring to discuss ideas or current events. While I am not wealthy, my finances are solid. I have no debts other than the mortgage on my condominium. Acquiring wealth is not my highest priority. However, I am planning for my retirement.

I prefer modest first dates.
