Let me apologize in advance for not having self-portraits in the mirror, kissy-face pictures, or pictures where I am half nude. This would be an example of my sarcasm :)

I don't know what exactly to write about myself so I'll keep it random and as not boring as possible! My typical day is waking up very early and running, working from about 7-5, sometimes going to dinner, sometimes going to yoga, and sometimes completely passing out when I get home! I run and do yoga because I like it and it relaxes me after a nine-ten hour work day. Yes, I have some long hours but can still find time to hang out with someone during the week, and weekends are USUALLY my own. I admit, I like to stay low key during the week, though. However, come the weekend I am typically up for anything! I have seemed to somewhat grow out of the "bar scene" but still like to go out from time to time, especially if it's somewhere new! I went to school for Criminal Justice and Psychology, but what I do has NOTHING to do with what I studied. I love my Philadelphia sports teams and probably know more about ice hockey than you. I don't say I like sports to impress guys, I really do enjoy watching them. I can attribute my love of sports to growing up with all boys! I promise, I definitely have a girly side, though. Just like everyone else on here, I am close with my family...I go home to spend time with my brothers, their wives, and my parents quite often. If it gives you any insight into me, my Dad calls me the "free spirit" of the family. I always laugh when I shouldn't. I have goals and know what I want in life. I also have a bucket list for those of you who know what it is. I am clumsy and don't see that changing. I don't like chocolate or potatoes. I don't like beer, either. I love pasta. That's probably why I have to run every day! I love music...particularly heavy rock! I am a girl who can pull off a baseball hat. I love dogs; it takes a special cat to win my heart. I love to text. I am not a fan of talking on the phone. I am not overly good at "talking about my feelings" but am a definite fan of talking out problems. I hate confrontation. Why cause more stress and drama for either one of us? I am a spelling and grammar snob. I am happiest when I am near anything with water. I like being outside in general...hiking, running, BBQ's, camping, etc. I am a big fan of watching movies and just hanging around the house on Sundays. I like anything new and/or spontaneous. Little things like letters make me happy. I also like when someone can hold an actual educated conversation. This is not something I take for granted. I went to Haiti and worked in an orphanage and it was the best experience of my life. I can be happy sitting at home watching movies one night and going out the next. I am a VERY caring person. I am very open minded and non-judgmental. I am also quite stubborn. Anything you want to know, just ask!

FYI - Messages that say, "hey, what's up", "let's meet up", "your (spelled wrong) hot" typically do not catch my attention. And please don't send me hate mail if I don't write back.

I am not a fan of going to the movies. It's forced awkward silence. I can do drinks, walking around somewhere, a sporting event, or anything else you can think of! It's always best to go somewhere you can talk and get to know each other, though. And I will do anything that involves coffee and/or coffee shops!
