To me - life is all about what you experience, who you experience it with and what impact you make along the way. I am one not content to settle for what life throws my way. On the contrary, there's so much to see and do on this planet....why not make a unique path, be true to oneself, not be afraid to fail and live by the golden rule.

My interests are varied: sports (playing and watching), science, business, volunteering/giving back to organizations/causes that I believe in, spending time with family and friends, being humbled by nature (hiking, camping, fishing), car restoration, travel (domestically and internationally), cooking, music (instrumental mostly - fusion jazz, etc.) and oh so much more.

I consider myself to be one who really cares about how my words and actions affect those in my life. I am loyal to a fault and am always willing to help a friend or family member in need. I am highly ambititous; more in the sense of accomplishing goals versus accumulating possessions or money. Don't get me wrong, I like the finer things in life. However, I am not a power-hungry man caught up in bulldozing my way to success. I prefer to use my intellect, cunning and "tactful tenacity" to obtain my objective(s).

Who I'm looking for: a woman that has a unique sense of self; someone who has experienced enough in life thus far to know what she wants (and doesn't want) in a life partner and is not willing to compromise. She must be intellectually curious and want to make a difference in this world. She values family and friends and often puts their interests and happiness before her own.

I guess my mind immediately ponders an "ideal first date" rather than what we would do on a first date. In this sense, I prefer to discuss generalities not specifics.

From the outset....I'd try and make our first date not seem like a "first date." Indeed, I look forward to the anticipation and excitement over meeting for the first time. However, our first date together will be as relaxed as possible and take place in a quiet, tranquil environment - one where we can talk and get to know each other. There will be lots of conversation about a myriad of topics, great food, fantastic wine, perhaps a walk to burn off a little of the dinner and an overwhelming sense that we both do not want our time together to end.....
