Hobbies include but are not limited to Gardening, Swimming (for fun & staying cool), Participating in events that help others, as well as other things that I can't think of right now.
Interests include going to Jazz, R&B, and Oldie Concerts, Horseback riding (haven't been in years), Picnics in the park, Driving on little get-a-ways, Movies (Comedies, Action, and Psychological Thrillers. I don't like scary movies too much), B-B-Qing with family &/or friends, as well as many more things.
Goals include becomming financially in a position to do the things that I enjoy doing, and being able to help those in need without having to worry about enough funds to cover my own basic necessities. Education is something that I feel strong about, one can always learn something.
What makes me unique?? I'm just myself, I love people, believe everyone deserves a chance, ( just don't blow it, it's difficullt to get an opportunity to have trust the second time around), I try to see the good in everyone, I love nature, although I don't surround myself with it, I respect it to the upmost. I beieve in hugs over handshakes for the most part (unless it's totally business). I believe in treating others as I would like to be treated. I drink rarely, maybe a couple times a year, I do not smoke and don't care for breathing others second hand smoke, along with that I also don't care to breathe their bad breath.
Seek friends that have simular values, goals, and achievements.
I believe that a person should be able to be themselves without having to worry about how everyone else may feel about them. People should care about their apperance though, meaning brushing their teeth, combing their hair, bathing regularly, ect. This may sound funny to many but there are people out there that don't do the basics and think it's alright. Okay for them it may be, but I chose not to keep their company on a regular basis. I feel it takes time to get to know someone, I may give the benefit of doubt, but I don't really feel I know someone until???? enough quality time has been spent with them which could take months. Let's keep it real! :D
As far as Music: I enjoy listening to Jazz, R&B, Neo-Soul, Classic Rock & Roll, and Oldies. |

Meet in a open place where people are, like a coffee shop, sit down and talk to get to know one another more. No longer than 30 minutes. It could get ackward, but if time flies, and conversation flows then 30 minutes should be just enough time to decide if there will be an opportunity for a second meeting, but if it goes a little longer and conversation is enjoyable, I won't get up and leave. (Smile) If we would each like to meet again, we could decided at that time what we could do & where to go. Something enjoyable for both would be nice. |
