About Me
I am a multi-instrumentalist musician working in higher education for 23 years and in the film industry for 3 years as a cinema music consultant.
I'm also working as a freelance associate producer, technical and marketing consultant on various films and documentaries in development and on the market.
My goal is to retire from education at 25 years and work in the film industry full time with my own company (now in the process of developing a business model).
Originally from the Chicago area (born and raised), I've been in California for 26 years.
Music interests:
Jazz, Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, Fusion, old-school funk, swing, country, blues, Motown, classic rock, electronica/deep house, classical, cinema music.
Film/tv:
I'm far too busy these days for tv but I will say that I enjoy vintage horror (particularly Hammer productions from England), King of Queens, The Three Stooges (what guy doesn't).
Art interests:
Edward Hopper, Walker Evans, Dorthea Lange.
Cats: I'm terribly allergic, sorry.
Dancing: Unless they're slow jams, I'll only embarrass you, trust me.
Tats: okay as long as you don't have your baby daddy's name on your breasts or ass :o)
