I am a forty-six year old male looking for a wonderful woman to create a long lasting relationship.

I have been told that I am an eternal optimist, which is a trait of the Irish. I like to think that the glass is half full. I also believe that you can't worry about things that you have no control over.

I believe that your family comes first, no excuses. I have two kids, my son is 20 and away at college and my daughter is 18 and a senior in high school and will be going away to college next year. They are the best kids you could ever want!

I enjoy going to the beach, watching a movie either at home or at the theater, going to a game and getting some wings, get dressed up for a nice dinner, or just going for a walk.

I am a huge sports fan, Hurricanes, Dolphins, Panthers and Marlins. Let's go to a game!

I love to travel and am a bit of a history buff. I especially interested in American history and visiting our country's historical sites. I love going to New England for the changing of the leaves or out west to go skiing in the winter. I would also like to start traveling abroad especially Europe. Let's take a trip!

I am currently finishing my bachelors degree, (almost there!), once I am done with that it is right onto my masters degree. Once I complete my masters, I want to get into teaching so that I can finally retire from my current career.

I have two of the greatest kids that a parent could have. My son is twenty and a junior in college and my daughter is eighteen and a senior in high school...almost done!

I have been out of the dating scene for a while and would like to ease back into it with the right person. Who knows what could happen if the chemistry is right.

My first date would be to get together for a drink, dinner or some coffee and see where it goes from there.
