I guess its best to start off with--i am NOT like "most guys." In fact, when it comes to those stereotypical "things" guys typically do (that girls hate), i usually am the OPPOSITE. I am a very different person---unconventional. I grew up w/some "country" roots (only a few years), but I dont listen to it much anymore. LOVE singing to my music. I have worked on cars for around 7 years, 2 of those w/Acura as a technician. I have also been a US Marine. I was stationed in Jacksonville, NC, working on the air station as an aviation operations specialist. I think its safe to say that I am of a different breed, and people usually hate me or love me, no in-between...I'm filled with knowledge on a variety of things, but not an expert in any area. I have always been a sponge for knowledge, being humble enough to learn things from people of all types. I love having intellectual conversation about just about anything, and being able to debate and "argue" ideas without getting into a REAL argument, just for the sake of intellectual stimulation. Although I have achieved the forementioned with a few females (friends only), I have never had that bond with a girl I was seeing. No matter---we all know that we fulfill different needs with our friends, and that we dont always have to get EVERY single quality in ONE person. Basically, I get my conversation from my guy friends, not-so-much from the girls I have been with, although i know there are plenty of intellectual females out there! Lastly, usually the people (guys/gals) that get to know me tend to find me likable. Im easy going and i cant STAND fighting, esPECIALLY when its really hateful or violent. Those chicks, i can no longer be around. I very recently moved from my hometown in Fort Worth, TX, and moved here to Seattle. I dont know ANYONE here, yet. Im looking for someone to talk to and go out with, and if chemistry is there or develops, then so be it. But like many of us who have gone online, I don't have any high expectations--then again, you never know!

No worries---i always get pretty "cool" in what most people find "uncomfortable situations." I guess its from my acting experience in high school...I just don't get nervous when most people do. There wont be many uncomfortable silences, cuz I wont go long without saying something! I love singing, kareoke, or just at home or in the car, I usually don't mind WHO is around, I'll sing anyway (unless someone tells me to shut it). I am laid back and down for anything, except things like a movie (on the first date). I mean, you gotta TALK to get to know one another. You can get to know someone better talking to them on the computer for two weeks than you can with ONE date watching a movie. Unless youre one of those people who don't like talking....in which case, you probably wouldn't like me :) Just because I like to talk doesn't mean I am a nerd--I'm DEF not. I'm way laid back and more than willing to try new things!
