I'm going through one of my "tired of all this" phases. I don't mind going for a friendly coffee, or to keep one another company on a run, or maybe accompany someone to a movie, but I'm not in to the stress of getting into it any more deeply at this time... I'll snap out of it, but at this time friendship is all I can offer.

Before you start reading you need to know that I'm actually 42, I was advised not to reveal my real DOB on the internet. I am however an Aries, if that matters to you! I also am a person that keeps her eye on the end goal, I have a very straightforward, and cut-to-the-chase attitude. Many men say this is something that they want in a woman, yet I find only a very few can appreciate it. If you're unable to have a productive, honest argument(I could use the word 'discussion', but I do like the passion and heat of an argument sometimes, as long as it doesn't degrade into nasty childishness.), then I'm not for you. If you are unable to make an attempt to see past your own point of view then we will not get along... because that's my point of view... :-b

I adore horses, and they seem to like me too.

I can crash on the couch and relax, but I prefer to be moving.

I'm very secure in some ways, and very insecure in others.

I have made sacrifices in my life that have left me a little behind the eight ball, but I will not screw over people that I've made a commitment to no matter how much I desire moving in a new direction, and I think that speaks volumes about my character...I'm very proud of myself, and despite some current undesirable conditions in my life, I'm happy.

I like any music that I like, and don't like music that I don't like... lol.

The true killer of relationships are expectations. That's the conundrum... I've spent many hours chasing my tail over this one!! I'm not sure I'll ever find the answer to this puzzle. It's probably so simple that when I'm 90 and finally figure it out I'll have to give myself a good slap...

Sometimes I'm tired.

I feel like I'm writing a lot, and saying little, but how do you put the sum of a life in a box. I notice that just when you think you have someone pinned down, they go and do something remarkably unsuspected... I love that!

I don't know... all my books are technical, I don't read fiction very often, but I love a good unbelievable movie, or TV show now and again! I read science magazines, and psychology magazines. I like biography's, and especially auto-biography's that are written toward the end of the person's life...they are so honest.

I've just taken up crochet, and knitting... I will be an awesome Grandma!!!!!!

I love architecture, and interior design and decorating, fashion and sewing fascinate me. I love furniture like most women love jewelery, but I like jewelery design as well. I also enjoy looking at Art and Photography. Horticulture is fascinating, I would love to try to Bonsai a Black Walnut... I don't even know if you can, but I think one of these day's I'll give it a go!!!

I love gourmet cooking and baking... my weakness is food, but I try to stick to a mainly plant based diet most of the time. This doesn't mean I'm overweight either, I'm 5'4 / 115 lbs., and somewhat muscular.

I love roughing it... backpacking is fabulous, not only does it put you back in touch with nature, but I love how when you get home all the things you used to take for granted seem like such a fabulous luxury... like a hot shower, the refrigerator, and take out food deliveries!!!!

I like to run, and I do it 5 day's a week, would love company.

If you can play guitar and sing you'll get in my pants... lol ...just kidding, but it does seem to have a surprising effect on me.

I find it necessary yet distasteful to have to add that I'm not interested in casual sex. My body is the greatest physical gift I have to give, and the greatest of all miracles that is the result of making love is the most private and personal thing two people can share, and should be treated with the utmost reverence... if I consider anything sacred, I guess this is it! I know not everyone see's it my way, and that's fine... it takes ALL kinds to make the world, just please don't try to put me in the position where I have to reject you, because I will... regardless of what you say to me... I will say no, until I know we are both committed to building a lasting, loving, monogamous relationship.


I'm not sure what type of picture I've painted of myself here, I guess that will depend on who reads it.

I'm a gentle, quiet(although I can be playful), person that wants the security, and companionship, of my last long term relationship.

... although going dutch is probably best. I do expect to be treated like a lady... not a princess, a lady... that is non-negotiable.






I just thought I'd like to mention as an after thought, that the mailing restrictions that you choose to use at the bottom of your profile really do speak volumes, and if they conflict with what you're trying to portray in your profile... well, that's just cheesy!
