I am a typical guy, enjoying life and what it throws at me, a bit optimistic, and always with a smile. I enjoy the outdoors, backpacking, mt. biking, snowboarding, surfing, soccer, and swimming. If I have the chance to get away from the norm in life I will take that chance. Traveling is a big part of my life. To me, traveling means being willing to get lost along the way. If you can not get yourself lost then you’re following a path that everyone expects. When you get yourself lost, you get introduced to new experiences and a since of adventure that is totally unexpected. How you cope with those unexpected events is a reflection on your views on life.

Amongst all the commotion of life I am a swim coach. It is a great place to me to be. I really enjoy coaching and helping the kids with life. For as long as I can remember all my friends came to me when ever they were having problems. I have been told many times that I am wiser then my age. (I think it is from my travels) This is why I think I make a great coach. Not only do I know how to teach them and help them improve there stoke and speed, but I am also here to help them with life if they need it.

When ever I have free time I am usually sitting at my computer in my room doing Graphic Design work. In the start of 2008 I started my own business, James Jet Black designs. It has not quite taken off like I expected but it is also not slowing down. So I am a outdoors, coach, computer guy I guess.

Most everyone is putting coffee here... but I dont just want to sit lets do something.
