I really do not expect to meet Mr Right on this site, but I figure I have nothing to lose, so here goes...

ME:
I am basically looking for someone with whom I share a mental and emotional connection as well as great chemistry; a best friend, someone who complements me. A little about me...I consider myself to be feminine, passionate, extroverted, ethical, inquisitive (love learning), loyal, open and honest. I am both romantic and practical. I am creative, yet logical and analytical. I am a dog (vs. cat) person, and love puppies. A healthy lifestyle is also important to me, and I love dancing and music. It is difficult to describe my personality on paper, but I guess I am a little bit girl-next-door, with a splash of sass and spunk thrown in for fun. :-) While I enjoy deep conversation, I also have a spontaneous, playful side.

Music is a passion of mine and I enjoy a wide variety, from Beethoven to Michael Jackson. I dislike angry, toxic noise, or any type of music that kills plants. Other things I don't care for are flakiness, Neo-Cons, sport-hunters, tattoos, smokers, drugs, and excessive swearing. Since I am naturally outgoing and expressive as well as health conscious, I don't feel the need to drink alcohol too often. However, I have no problem with moderate and responsible drinking in others. In some ways I am traditional (my parents are from the Midwest and still married), but I am also an independent thinker and seek knowledge outside of the mainstream media.

I am more "spiritual" than "non-religious," which I checked in my profile given the lack of "spiritual" option. I occasionally attend Catholic mass when I find a church that is positive. I had to choose between non-religious and Catholic, so I chose the former because I rely mainly on logic, facts, and personal morality to form my opinions.

YOU:
The type of man I am interested in meeting is college educated (Bachelor's degree or +), intelligent, sensitive, loyal, honest, communicative, respectful, affectionate, reliable, and leads a reasonably healthy (drug-free) lifestyle. (I am not interested in dating anyone who already has children.) Sexy to me is a good-looking gentleman who is caring, protective and genuine...I am not attracted to the aloof, bad-boy type. Physically, I am attracted to someone who has a healthy, masculine build (5' 11" or taller - a girl has to be able to wear heels :-). His handsome looks have not affected his down-to-earth attitude, values, and personality. Since it's important to share interests; I am attracted to men who appreciate the arts and like to dance - I am open to learning different styles, but want to be able to share that romantic and sensual activity together, (and wouldn't feel right leaving my BF at home while I dance with other men). Bonus points if you are musically inclined. And extra special brownie points if you are a Ron Paul fan. :-)

***Since I highly doubt anything will come of this site with regard to dating, if anyone is looking for a dance partner in American Smooth, International Latin, West Coast Swing, Hustle, or Salsa/Bachata at least we could put this site to good use. :-)

I am not on here just for some fun dates or free meals. I am looking for a connection - similar interests, values and chemistry - with the purpose of establishing something meaningful down the road. This is why I am detailed in describing myself and qualities I seek in a partner. I will let the man take the lead and suggest a date if he wishes to meet me. As long as it is somewhere public (of course), I do not care if it involves meeting over tea, ice cream, brunch, lunch or dinner.
