About Me
I would have to say that I am an eccentric person (in a good way).
I have a wide range of interests: Real Estate, Alternative Investments, Amusement Park Ride History & Design (Classic Funhouses & Darkrides), Wax Museums, Themed Environments, Import Draught Beer, Theatre, Films, Clowns, Circus, Carnivals, Roadside Attractions, Sideshows/Freakshows, Magicians, Burlesque, Old Fashioned Girly Shows (You know the corny kind with the old guy in a striped suit yelling "Girls Girls GIRLS!!!"). Unique Photography (Ghost Towns, Abandoned Mineshafts, Etc). The Odd, The Unusual, The Strange - anything that adds a little spice to life.
My musical tastes vary: IRON MAIDEN (Favorite Band), METALLICA, ACCEPT, ANVIL, DIO, FASTWAY, MOTLEY CRUE, AC/DC, QUEENSRYCHE, DOORS, OLDIES, CLASSICAL, PIPE ORGAN, VINTAGE AMUSEMENT PARK MUSIC, CALLIOPE, GRIND ORGAN/HURDY GURDY, PLAYER PIANO, BAND ORGAN, SOME 80'S, ELECTRONICA.
I always enjoy going to see movies. Some of my favorites are: Funhouse, Darkride, Carny, Freaks, anything with Johnny Depp (He always plays the most interesting characters.) Documentaries, horror films and Bio-Pics such as Tucker: A Man and His Dream are my favorite types.
I don't tend to watch much tv, but when I do I prefer: History Channel, Travel Channel, Documentaries, Biographies. Love Dexter! The Ultimate Fighter (UFC) KICKS BUTT (Pun Intended), Storm Chasers.
I really enjoy reading and am always up for a trip to a bookstore! Some of my favorite books are The Bible, The Kid of Coney Island, Dark Carnival, Anything by Stephen King. Snowball - Warren Buffett and the Business of Life. The Secret Life of Harry Houdini.
My personal heroes are Jesus, King David, George Washington, Our Military, Ronald Reagan, Warren Buffett, Stephen King, Walt Disney, Vincent Price, Dana White (UFC), Bruce Lee, Fred Thompson (Founder of the Original Luna Park at Coney Island), P.T. Barnum, Harry Houdini, Leon & William Cassidy (Inventors of the Pretzel Dark Ride System). I could go on, but I will leave that for a conversation over coffee ;-)
I have a good sense of humor and enjoy good slapstick comedy (Three Stooges, Charlie Chaplin, Laurel and Hardy - Classic cartoons such a the original Scooby Doo and Tom & Jerry are the best!)
I am a non-denominational Christian. I am conservative politically and am looking for a partner who shares the same values: I believe in small limited government, low taxes, states rights, gun rights, is pro-life, pro-family, etc. I live by an America First personal code - For example, if I go to a store such as Home Depot, I will always try to buy American made products even if they are slightly more expensive.
I enjoy reading, snuggling, taking naps, watching movies at home, fine dining and spending quality time with the right woman.
My immediate goal is to begin building my own home and small amusement park on my property as well as obtain my Series 7 Securities License. I am currently writing my first novel.
First Date
I am pretty much open for going out for coffee to having dinner or anything in-between. I feel that meeting for coffee or a light snack is a good way to "break the ice" when meeting new people. That said, I am never opposed to meeting for a nice dinner or an activity such as browsing an antique shop, going to a carnival or a film.
Midwayman has 2 roses that can be sent.
