If you are anything like me you are probably wondering where you go to meet a potential partner. You are also probably wondering when dating became so difficult – it isn’t like it was when we were in our early 20’s. When we are younger, we have the ability to mold our lives around relationships. As we get older we are more formed and set in our ways – in many ways we are already molded. Sure, we make some changes when we enter into a new relationship but our core being, morals and values are already set. Through the years we gain experience and become more in touch with who we are and what we are looking for. I know I’m looking for someone that will be compatible – not conform to an expectation.

I know that I am a good man and will make someone a fantastic partner. I know that I am respectful, honest, caring, loyal, humorous, loving, caring, compassionate, and smart. I don’t expect you to take me for my word just by reading my profile but if you decide to give me a chance I will take every opportunity to prove to you the man that I am – I will not pretend to be someone I am not – what you see is what you get. I am not perfect, nor do I claim to be and I am not looking for perfection, only someone perfect for me.

I enjoy dancing (rock, hip hop, salsa, swing . . . some I know . . . some I want to learn), walks, community events, music, conversation, cooking, sports, exercise, theater, travel and exploring new things. My favorite holiday is Christmas. I am in search for a woman that is not only honest with me but honest with herself. I am not looking for someone who likes to play games or has a lot of drama in her life. I want a woman that will treat me just as good as I will treat her. I don’t believe in 50 / 50, but 100 / 100.

I think we both have to put in 100% to make a relationship last and make it the best that it can be. I like to take things at a pace that is comfortable for both of us. I want to share real intimacy when the time is right. I am not looking to rush into anything – I am looking to invest my time and energy into getting to know you – not only who you are today but who you were in the past and who you plan to be in the future.
