This is the year where I clean things up. I got a steady job (after being laid off early last year); I quit smoking (after 8 years of a pack a day); I stopped hanging around drama-filled individuals; and I just bought my first home. Everything is going good . . . I guess I just need a good gal to make the year a complete success!

I'm a laid back fellah with a good sense of humor. Grew up on a big farm in a small town in Vermont. Been living in Florida for 9yrs and love it because I can play outdoor sports year round! I love playing any and all sports - you name it, I'll play it. I also love stand up comedy and going to laid back bars. I also like to write. I wrote a book! Yea, really! I did! Now come on, haven't you always wanted to bring a guy home and say "Hey, mom, meet my boyfriend. He's an author!"

Oh, one more thing . . . if you see me online, dont try to instant message me. My computer has a poop up blocker that will prevent me from seeing your lovely and romantic message that you have wrote just for me.
(Yes, I know I spelled "poop" . . . because that's what I think of pop-ups!)

P.S. . . I'm really not a raging alcoholic . . but it seems that the only pics I have are from bars or parties! I honestly only drink about 6 beers a week!!

First date . . . hmmm . . . I'd like to start the date right off with a big sloppy kiss. I think that would make the date much more relaxing. Sometimes dates sit there, wondering and worrying in the back of their heads, if there is going to be a kiss at the end of the nite. So I say do it right at the beginning! Get it right out of the way!!

ok ok, I'm kidding. I've never actually had a first date like that, although I'd like to try it at least once, just for kicks and giggles

My ideal first date is meeting at a quiet laid back bar/restaurant where we can sit, have some drinks, and chat til closing time. It's a good way to start, and, plus, it also benefits you because if you meet for drinks, you can find out if your date can hold their liquor or not!
