First dates should be simple. It's really just a chance for you and the other person to hang out for a little bit and get to know each other. A walk in the park or meeting for coffee or a drink is perfect. You can always do more later if things go well. Dinner and a movie is the worst first date that there is because you dont have enough time to talk and find out what the other person is about.
