In my spare time, I enjoy going to concerts, galleries, gardens, and taking day trips. My family connections are very important, especially my Mom, my three grown children and their families, and my siblings. At home, I listen to NPR, watch PBS, HG TV, and sometimes Letterman or Conan. Spending time alone is comfortable for me, but I often reach out and call friends at the last minute to go out for happy hour or lunch or dinner. I get a big charge out of trying to identify trees, shrubs, flowers, and birds, and have enjoyed doing some amateur landscaping. Even though I am really into classical music, I also enjoy jazz and acoustic music (Trail Mix on KPR!) I'm left of middle politically and prefer not to get into hairy political discussions.

I would enjoy meeting for an afternoon coffee or drink at the Plaza, or Brookside, or even at Barnes and Noble or Borders just to chat.
