Life is good! I have a great group of friends, an awesome family, and a nice little condo. I love travel (Italy and Ireland are tied for my favorite countries, and I'm currently planning a trip to Spain), movies, live music, good wine, and cooking (although I can't truthfully claim that everything I make is good...or even edible...I do love to try). I have a job that I love and can feel good about when I go home every day, and I work a lot, but I always make time for fun too.

I'm looking for someone who's smart, fun, a little nerdy, interested in the world around him, not afraid to state his opinion and stand behind it, has an easy laugh, likes good music - and is tall (I'm 5'10"). One more thing - if you take yourself very seriously, I'm probably not your girl.

Random facts about me: I love board games and I'm pretty sure I can beat you at Trivial Pursuit. I am outgoing and love meeting new people and being out on the town, but there's a part of me that's a closet homebody too. I grew up on a farm, but I LOVE the city. Going home to visit is great but I always look forward to coming back to my 'hood. I take good care of myself and I like running...and I also like reading a book on the couch. I try to eat organically whenever I can, but nothing beats the Khao Cadeukadeek at Chiang Mai Thai, which I am certain is in no way healthy for anyone. I love Elton John; I loathe John Mayer. My favorite thing ever is good conversation over a bottle of red. I should mention that I am a news and politics junkie and I lean pretty far left. I love a good debate, so bring it!
