I am a early 50s professional who enjoys sports and fitness related activities. Not a couch potato. I have three children, one living on his own, and two with me part-time, both attending middle school. I am a very proud and attentive father (we all like to think we are), but I truly do enjoy being involved in my kids' lives, coaching their sports teams, etc. I try to maintain balance in my life, working hard, yet finding time to play, too. I am a guy and as you know we try to keep it simple. I would suggest meeting for a cup of coffee or a drink - determine if there is that "chemistry" to build from. I guess you would call this a first meet - not necessarily a date. The date comes next. On that first date we would seek something that we can share between us - not yet introducing other friends until we are comfortable with one another. Maybe a walk around Annapolis or Baltimore, perhaps a drive to the ocean, or maybe even a small town.
