| | I've been living in Ottawa for a couple of years now and have realized that in between settling into a new job and a new city, I haven't made a great effort to meet anyone outside of my small circle of co-workers and the like. So here I am attempting to remedy the situation.
A little about myself: I like to think I'm a fairly intelligent guy with a big heart, good sense of humour, positive outlook on life and an open mind...career-oriented, with a wanderlust that occasionally takes over and must be satiated...I have varied interests from books and travel, to sports and music, and the occasional culinary adventure at home or out of it. Though, of course, I'm always looking to expand my horizons, and am willing to try something twice just to make sure. My family and friends occupy a central part of my life, though I admit I can be a bit selective about the latter, but loyal to the end.
As for what I'm looking for...well, I'm hoping to find someone with similar interests, and maybe a few different ones that I can be introduced to...someone that is outgoing, laid-back, with a zest for life and a kind heart...and, of course, someone that's always up for an adventure. |

Hmmmm...let's see...I've always thought that a stroll down Central Park or a boat tour down the Seine would probably be up there when it comes to a first date. But what are the odds, eh? So I figure a coffee in a nice place downtown would afford us time to size one another up, and go from there. |
