I'm a fairly average southern girl, raised on religion, food and football - often at the same time. I have a cookie cutter family whom I love and i'm also fortunate enough to genuinely enjoy what i do.

I'm a smartass, in a mostly cute way. Formerly an athlete in highschool and college, trying to get back into shape by running and starting up triathlons (yikes!). I really try to operate under the premise of honesty and openness and feel that communication is key in all my relationships in life. I can be intense but i'm definitely fun-loving and my passion lies in being a true friend to those i surround myself with. I'm understanding and affectionate but have a definite tendency to be self critical. I absolutely wear my feelings on my sleeve - what you see, is what you get. I have high expectations of myself and my mate but am well aware of my own reality. I love sports, relaxing, and being silly and i hate inconsistency and uncertainty.

My ideal match will want to be my best friend, my partner in crime, and all those other cliches. I want someone who affirms me and encourages me in my life goals, whatever those may be. He must have his own life, his own desires, his own hobbies and friends... all of which i will strive to support. I have to have someone that knows how to give and take in an argument while remaining mature and confident. Someone who loves adventure and isn't intimidated by a girl who knows what she wants.

All my friends know that my idea of a perfect first date is something low key, relaxing and noncommital. If i have to pinpoint something i'd say a sporting event, like a baseball game. How a guy treats his date at a sporting event is a big indicator of how he is going to treat her when they are alone. And of course, if the sparks don't fly... you can always strike up a friendship and have a beer over baseball. It is a win-win situation really.
