| | I enjoy running, biking, birding & hiking on the bike path several times per week. My passion for the outdoors includes hiking in the mountains, recently returning this summer from the Canadian Rockies. Beaches are great, too, along with snorkeling, and also canoeing, kayaking, & boating on quiet waters.
Other hobbies include movies, concerts, most types of music (except rap),reading. Would love to get back into dancing & taking some classes for Latin dances.
I have a creative streak and love gardening, sewing, wood working and plan to take some jewelry making classes in the near future.
My humble claim to fame might be my sense of humor, and how I try to treat all with gentleness and kindness. I am usually very logical & believe being honest is the most fair way to be. The word "can't" hardly ever comes out of my mouth, and I generally have lots of energy. I am open to trying new things and love challenging myself. |

Before the first date I would hope to email back & forth with a friendly banter to check out the other person's sense of humor. If there is a good flow, then meeting for a drink is an easy way to see if there is a spark. If so, then a longer evening together, maybe dinner, a movie, a play, comedy club would be nice. Some sort of daytime outdoor activity like a bike ride or walk would be a great way to spend time together, too, allowing for conversation.
Doing it in stages like that is like first dipping your toe in the water to see if you actually do want to jump in. Or if the chemistry is right, doing a double back flip off the high dive might be appropriate! |
