Live out in the country with dogs, cats, birds, goats and a rabbit. When I DO have spare time, I read, listen to music, hang out with friends. Not a big TV-watcher, but I AM a fan of the ShowTime series "Dexter." My choices in reading material will usually be military thrillers, spy and espionage, psychological thrillers, and the occasional biography.

Lemme see.....what other interesting factoids: I had horses growing up and can still saddle my own; I'm PADI certified; rode my own Harley until had to sell it (2007); been bungee jumping (twice); went to Greece in 2008; I'm going to the TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA concert again this year and I'm STILL working on the MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY class portion of scoping school.

My iPhone is loaded with a really eclectic assortment of music: Josh Groban (Yes?! JOSH GROBAN -- SHUT UP!) to Kenny Wayne Shepard, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Cross-Canadian Ragweed and lots of the new Christian Rock bands (Third Day and Mercy Me are favorites), some piano and orchestra concerts and a couple of self-hypnosis instructionals (quitting smoking and chakra cleansing).

I put "Hang-Out" in the I AM LOOKING FOR thing because I am not just all kinda gung-ho about jumping smack in the middle of anything serious and heavy. I'd like to find someone pleasureable to hang out with first, and THEN see if and how good friends we can be and THEN see if either of us are interested in persuing the matter.

On a first date, I would be eternally grateful just to NOT make an ass of myself. And, I don't really like the whole "DATE" thing: let's just meet somewhere, have some coffee or a beer or iced tea (and, depending on where I am in my "quitting smoking" thing, maybe a cigarette) and talk and see what we think of each other. I understand that this sounds a lot LIKE a date, but we don't have to name it that...
