About me. I’m 6’2, 190lbs, brown hair, green eyes (although sometimes people say that I have blue ones) I'm half Greek, half German. I can speak a little German and very little Portuguese…enough Portuguese to order a beer and let people know I don’t speak Portuguese. I work full-time, go to school part-time *cough* Stanford *cough*. I am an engineer and have been doing the same job since I finished my undergrad…same job with a progression of new titles. I won’t go into details about what I do but next time you are on a plane and wonder how all these planes are flying around the US and not hitting each other, you can thank me. I just recently relocated to Atlanta and plan to be here for a while.

I don’t want to divulge my every place of domicile since I left home but did you know that I lived in too many places. California, Alaska, and Pennsylvania…to name a few... I also lived in Germany and have spent a bunch of time in Brazil (my brother now lives there) I feel a bit like a traveling nomad. I would like to eventually find a place where I can take up roots…but that hasn’t happened yet.

Do you know that I have a viscous animal in my dwelling. He is banned by 9 out of every 10 apartment complexes and has been a pain in my behind because I have been on constant travel since I bought him from some back-yard hick in the hills of rural Maryland. He has been trained to be a proper pet though. He knows the phrase no biting…and will lick you repetitively in response to those words.

Here are some of my likes and dislikes. I like in the beginning of the movie Amelie when every character is introduced by their likes and dislikes. I like dogs. I like the pool, beach, and most anything with water. I like nice restaurants, I’d prefer not eating at chains. I like beer. I like movies. I like travel. I would like to visit the Mediterranean next, maybe Greece. I like reading. I also like music, I play a little guitar horribly and not often enough. I dislike government, taxes, politicians, and spiders.

I don’t know what else to say…I’m pretty laid back…I can be quiet at times. I love new things….things I haven’t seen or experienced yet. I wish I could go to work everyday and do a new job. I also love constants…I get my coffee at the same spot and have been using the same soap for a decade.

Here is what I’m looking for…

Someone who is independent and has her own thing going…
Someone who can contribute original thoughts to a conversation…
Someone who is different, stands out… (at least to me…)
Someone who is level headed…If you are psycho chick, you need to be really hot for me to consider dating you, there is nothing more unattractive to me than a mediocre looking psycho chick…but if you are really good looking, somehow I always seem to get over the psycho chick part…d*mn you hormones…
