What does a person write in a profile? After reading some of the forums, there isn’t much a person can write that won’t be misinterpreted. The truth is, you cannot get to know the real person by their profile.

I will try to keep this short, since I have been told I talk too much…well it was more like “don’t you ever shut up!” Even though most of this will seem more on the serious side, I have been told I have a good sense of humour. Actually some people at work come to talk to me just to get their laugh for the day, knowing I will have something funny to say about almost any situation.

I am interested in finding a partner in life - someone who has integrity, good morals, non-judgemental, positive attitude, intelligent and knows that life is about learning and growing. I offer the same. This person should also know that there are times in life for humour and times for seriousness.

I am interested in someone who has similar interests, yet also different interests. Afterall, it is always great to develop new interests and to be able to learn new things.

Not interested in a long distance relationship.

Interested in someone within 5 years of my age. Through experience I have learned that outside of that range, there is not a lot of compatibility.

I am interested in a relationship that starts as friendship and can lead into long term. All the relationships that I know of that have lasted, the couples always say the same thing – they are best friends.

Sorry, but I don’t want to waste my time with someone who has no intention of anything long term.

I have a recent picture posted, I expect the same in return. Also, the picture should be clear enough to be able to see what you actually look like. Even though there is more to compatibility than physical appearances, there does have to be at least some physical attraction. I have met people before without knowing what the person looked like, and it never turned out good – so, sorry, won’t do it again.

I told you I talk too much – this seems to be long, even though I said I would keep it short.

There is so very much more to know about me, that cannot be written here, since nobody wants to read a novel on here, so if you really want to get to know who I am, you will have to actually talk with me.


Just a bit more - I do smoke at the moment, though I will be quitting soon. I made myself a promise that as soon as I start putting up the new walls and new ceiling in my house, there will be no more smoking in my house. Therefore I will be quitting within the short-term, as I almost have my renovations to the finishing point. And yes, I am doing my own renovations, and they are good quality. So if you are intimidated by a woman who knows how to use powertools, then we would not be compatible. (And to those who say 'ya right' to the quitting smoking bit - I had made myself a promise not to smoke in my new vehicle, and a year and a half later, I never have.)

We could always stand in the middle of a busy sidewalk staring up, just to see how many people we can get to look up.
