I prefer outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, skiing, and swimming. I've also been involved in an experimental rocketry group with a long and illustrious history.

My current goals are to support my children in becoming healthy young adults in all ways, to make my business a success, to learn and grow myself, and to enjoy what I have in life.

I consider myself out of the mainstream and yet I very much live in mainstream life. I make my own decisions. I keep an open mind while at the same time I'm skeptical of many claims and beliefs.

I am an avid NPR listener. My music tastes are pretty much the rock that I grew up with and I do enjoy female vocalists.

For a first date, I want to be in a place where it is possible to talk. If it's also doing something that brings things up and causes various interactions it can be helpful in learning about each other.
