Hmm. Where to start? Well, I’m a 32 year stunt double for Bruce Willis (Die Hard is still my greatest work) but when I’m not in Hollywood, I like to live the quiet life in the outskirts of Glasgow.

I’m a reasonably down to earth bloke and by turns I’m quiet, thoughtful, honest, intelligent (sometimes!) and sarcastic, with a decent sense of humour (hey, I’m posting a profile here for a start). I’m usually pretty shy at first but that disappears once you get to know me. I have a thing for spelling (why can’t people spell?!) and I can identify tree species (although I don’t walk around doing it like an extra from Rainman, obviously).

In my spare time I’m generally a slave to music. My head is usually adorned by a set of headphones and when I'm not keeping Apple afloat buying random songs from Itunes, I donate vast quantities of my salary to Fopp and other equally deserving record shops. I grew up in the era of Britpop so I still get misty eyed listening to bands of the mid 90’s, but of course I like current bands too (a few of my favourites just now are Howling Bells, Regina Spektor, the Manics and Maximo Park). I love gigs as well, of course.

I love movies too and go to the cinema most weekends. I'm into most films, from Anchorman to City of God, but comedies especially. TV wise, my favourite programme ever is The Simpsons, but I’m addicted to Lost and at the moment I'm watching CSI: New York, Fringe and Flashforward too. I read quite a bit as well, comedy lad lit or thrillers mostly – my favourite authors are the likes of Iain Banks, Chris Brookmyre and Colin Bateman.

I like to try and keep fit as well and can be found down the gym a couple of times a week. I quite like walks in the park too, but that’s probably only for the tree spotting sessions!
