I am a "young" 50 something who is looking first for a friend and than see what happens. I was married for 24 years (ex has since passed away). I recently got out of a LTR, took some time to get my head together and am now ready to meet new and exciting people. I love to travel and and just have a lot of fun. I am willing to try almost anything once, but no promises about a second time! I have taken care of myself for quite a while now and don't need anyone for that purpose. (I am quite capable of that) I would like to eventually get into a long term relationship, but one step at a time. I feel you need to be friends first. I am looking for someone who is HONEST, I don't play head games!!!! NO CHEATERS!!!! I like to be treated like a lady and will treat my man as a gentleman. Having fun is really important to me, since you only get one try at this life.

On my first date I like to meet for coffee. If that goes well, then maybe a movie, walk, or something. I hate the idea of meeting someone, finding out you just don't click and having to spend three hours with them - a gigantic waste of everyone's time. Worse yet, you go to dinner and the "gentleman" feels like you "owe" him. I prefer building a relationship rather than jumping in with both feet, into the unknown.
