I am a person who loves the simple things in life ... sounds cliche, but it's true. I spend many hours drawing and painting, watercolor and ink, primarily. I enjoy writing poetry and short stories. I love to explore the out-of-doors and would spend all my time outside, if possible. I teach children to be creative and instruct them in art projects. I'm a kid at heart (another cliche, I know) ... and feel that days are a gift and should not be wasted sitting in front of a television or talking on the phone continuously. Music is a must for me, whether I'm driving or working ... always listening. Talk radio is big on my list, also. Okay, Guys, get this ... I LOVE TO COOK ... but like to share the kitchen and the clean-up. Preparing a meal and sharing a glass of wine while doing so can be a fantastic evening, in my opinion. Brings out the "real" factor in people. And that's what I am looking for ... someone who is genuine and respects me and himself equally. A good friend and maybe more ... later on.

I would be most comfortable meeting in a public place over a cup of coffee or perhaps lunch. I would like my date to feel relaxed enough to bring out the "real" guy that I am meeting for the first time.
