I live and work in NYC as a policy analyst for a nonprofit. I enjoy theater, movies, and music, but most importantly, hanging out with my friends and laughing. I love talking about politics, current events, and laughing about stupid things. I am very sarcastic and when I say humor is important, I actually mean it because all of my friends can make me laugh until I cry.I have a few tattoos, I like rock/punk/rockabilly music, and I enjoy going to bars, drinking, going to concerts, and the occasional tourist activity.

I am liberal and I believe that a big part of my life is my work, and my work should be about social change. Nothing to me is more attractive (besides a sense of humor of course) than a person who has a political perspective, even if it isn't my own.

I am a big girl, and I am pretty comfortable with that, but find that it gives me a little anxiety in situations like this, because I don't want people to expect me to look a different way, and I want a person in my life who is comfortable with the way I look.

I am looking for a person who loves what they do. I don't care if you are a doctor, a mechanic, whatever, so long as you are doing something you enjoy and have direction. Physically, I want them to be taller than me (at least 5'9") and I do like light skin, slimmer to normal build, and guys with tattoos. But I am honestly more interested in the type of person you are-okay you do have to be taller than me.

In conclusion, be tall, be funny, read a newspaper, like big girls. I am so totally weirded out by this online dating thing too, so please know that I will want to take any meetings slow and chat before we meet (not for months or anything, just at first).
