Looking for a friend and activity partner.

Remember the pure joy and pleasure of swinging on a swing? I rediscovered it several years ago (yea!). The looks from other adults - part disapproving, part envious, and part questioning 'why not?' - make swinging even more delightful. Plus it is good for one's health - shakes out the cobwebs and all that. Join me someday on my neighborhood swing set!

I also enjoy:
working toward being healthier and more fit,
cleverly humorous people,
honesty and integrity (I'm really 68 - but no one believes me),
being in the woods, or at the ocean,
anything with mystery and imagination on TV (Lost, Warehouse13, etc.)
and so many more things I'll remember just as soon as this ink dries!

I find joy in small things, and believe, contrary to popular opinion, that 'success' in this life depends on how we treat other people.

I am working on shedding 40 lbs ... but I have all my own teeth ... and hair ... and fingernails :-)

A brief meeting to assess interests and compatibility, hopefully at a location to which we were both heading already - like a cafe in a grocery store. (Hey, don't knock it! If the meeting is less than magical at least we get our grocery shopping done!)
