I'll start off with a few specifics about myself: I enjoy swing dancing, going to the theater, music-preferably live, Trying new restaurants, cooking, long conversations, and I love movies. I love nature for all her calm and the city for its excitement. I enjoy trying new things(e.g. I tried scuba diving this summer!), and meeting new people. I am currently spending my time in medical school, which I love.

The preceding lines talk about what I do, but that is hardly who I am. I find it difficult to paint a picture with words that would be in any way accurate but I'll give it a shot anyway. I am primarily a thinker so I am trying to "do" more, I am tactful so I try to be more blunt, I am ruled by my whims so I am learning self control and patience, I love being spontaneous but my life is planned, I am a lover so I am gathering the courage to fight, I am open of mind and heart, I am compassionate and that I wish to never change, I am becoming what I wish to be...the road is long but the reward is priceless.

So, what am I looking for? Many things...few of which I know. One that I have found to be important is the ability to hold an intelligent conversation. A quote I like says: "Great people talk about ideas. Average people talk about things. Small people talk about other people." we are all great sometimes, and small at other times, but I would like to find someone who aspires toward the former and not the latter.

Well I like to start out meeting for coffee or drinks, it is low stress and we can chat and get to know each other. Next a trip to the art museum or the Krohn conservatory or a park just to walk around. By then we will likely be hungry, so dinner will probably sound like a good idea. After that it kinda depends on how things are going...maybe dancing, maybe a movie, maybe call it a night.
