My interests include community service, photography, traveling, fly fishing, and last but certainly not least time with my son. I do not know how to dance but would love to learn. My music tastes include, contemporary pop, new age, classic rock, old country and western, crossover classical, soft jazz etc. Not a fan of rap!

I am an incurable romantic looking for a fun loving and adventurous lady that would enjoy meeting a sane and stable guy. I'm looking for someone who I can feel safe with that no matter what happens they will have my back. Someone I can talk to and enjoy silence with. I am looking for a friendship with someone that is kind and affectionate. I'm very confident in my tastes, moral philosophies, and what I believe to be right and wrong. Who you are is more important to me than what you look like. I want someone I can have fun with and am comfortable hanging out with, a woman with a great attitude and the ability to smile and laugh. With that said I also recognize that physical attraction is usually the spark that leads to interesting conversations and ultimately emotional attraction.

I want a woman that enjoys similar types of things as I do such as candlelight dinner (prepared by me or us), relaxing in a hot tub, a day photographing flowers, kites, landscapes, or …whatever strikes us, day trips to interesting destinations, West Fest, Scarborough fair, flea markets, The Vocal Majority, quality over quantity, going out to dinner and a movie, holding hands, soft gentle kisses, cuddling up and watching a good movie. Someone who likes to talk about philosophy, faith, politics, or maybe a good humorous story about life. While I don't care about your income or education level I do care about you having goals and wanting to grow personally. I am a Christian and prefer a Christian woman.

One never knows when that special connection will occur. As Confucius said "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." I am ready to take that first step. Confucius also said, "By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third, by experience, which is the bitterest." While I have learned wisdom through the experience of marriage and the end was bitter I am not bitter. I chose to learn from the experience and reflect on the past to be better able to meet the opportunities of the future. What I do know is I want to be wanted and I want to enjoy the companionship of a woman (both emotional and physical) that has similar interests and desires. Might you be that woman?

I am separated and have been since August of 2008. Finalizing the divorce is just a matter of time and lots of attorneys fees!

Physically I am 5' 11", 190lbs., brown hair, blue eyes, in good shape, and have been told I am good looking but I recognize that is in the eyes of the beholder! I am intelligent, quick witted, and have a fun sense of humor. I live in a nice home with a great backyard that has a swimming pool and hot tub that is ideal for relaxing but does not get used much other than when my son is with me (every other week).

I am well mannered man and like to treat a lady like a lady. I am an educated professional with a master’s degree in management,live in Keller and work in North Fort Worth. I have been married once and that was for 30 years. I have an 11 year son that I adore and who comes first in my life. He is with me every other week.

I have two different ideas with respect to a first date. The first and prefefered is based on numerious previous e-mails and phone conversations and a strong feeling by both of us that a connection is likely. Given that we think the connection possibility is a probability I would like to go to a nice intimate restaurant for dinner. After a very pleasant dinner with continual exploration of each other a nice walk someplace like Southlake Town Center holding hands and watching other couples and continuing to enjoy each others company. The evening would end with a nice embrase and a soft kiss.

The second idea is based on our mutual decission to see each other without a lot of preliminary exploration via e-mail or over the phone. In that case our first date would be an opportunity for exploration. Ideally a short get together for lunch or a light dinner. The idea being it is an icebreaker so there is an escape for either of us if the connection is not there and either of us just want to go home. Hopefully that is not the case but as we all know we are not perfect matches for everyone.
