I really love being a psychologist and finding out what makes people (and me) do crazy shit. Lots of things are funny to me, but nobody ever feels like I'm laughing at them. I'm a nice guy, but real, and very deep. I'm Italian and passionate and I think big. I'm thinking of writing a book with my cousin about the psychology of weight loss, but it would probably help if I lost my beer gut. And stopped with the grinders already. I'm workin' on it! I daydream a whole lot. I love the outdoors but am not impressed with CT weather. I spent 6 years in Los Angeles but then I missed my family, so now I'm back in my small town. I love helping people change their lives for the better, but I don't get off on that feeling. Some days I just have to sigh and be with someone and his or her pain. To quote Ben Franklin, "Beer is proof that God wants us to be happy!" I've been to all 50 states, and Missouri can suck it. I'm very open and honest. I have my baggage, but I'm a great communicator. I was training to be a sex therapist, and it's all about getting people to be emotionally connected. So I don't want to just hook up with someone. But studying got me so excited that I was dying to practice, and since I didn't have a girlfriend I had to stop! I'm proud that my nephews (5 and 3) tell crazy stories about me. I can jump over tables of food with ease! (Seriously.) I relish being unconventional. I love to get psyched about stupid stuff. My cousin Adam and I rode mopeds all night in the rain. We got to New Hampshire but I crashed on railroad tracks and then his broke down. Family is so important. I have lots of friends but I don't go out enough. I want to meet people and do things, but I also like to stay in and hole up in my little house by the Lake. I like to be down by the water or out on my boat, but sometimes I feel lonely. I just want to be down there with someone special and maybe not have to say anything. I'm not into clubs or live music. But if I go to a wedding, I'm guaranteed to dance and have a better time than almost everyone there. I'm a couples therapist and was one of the only people at my class reunion who's not married yet! Whoah. I speak Spanish. I like road trips. I like my car. I want to explore every place in New England, even dumpy mill towns and small rivers. I love the beach and the mountains. I have ADHD- it is what it is. I've had a to-do list since 7th grade and now I'm ALMOST caught up with it! I want to hire a personal assistant! Yeah!

I am amazed by the motorcycle culture here, especially in Eastern CT. Harley guys make fun of me When I'm on my moped or my Vespa-style scooter. I'm not trying to do what they do. Anyone can ride a Harley. Would you rather be with someone who is actually free-thinking and manly enough to enjoy going slower? You'll see so much more along the way!

I have to connect with someone mentally before I can be comfortable. So I'm not macho, not a player. But I aint no wuss either. Hopefully you are a clever girl with a quirky sense of humor who is curious and kind. Full-figured and curvy-confident is cool. I'd like to get to know you via email or chatting somehow first. Then on a first date I would like to check out a dive bar or maybe go outdoors somehow, watching a sunset or walking somewhere, with a feeling of adventure as we explore a new place and each others' personalities. Make fun of people and things we see. A nice out-of-the-way restaurant with some vino perhaps? Perhaps you tell me I'm the coolest guy you ever met? No, please! You don't have to say that! Joking- I'm not arrogant, but I know who I am and what I want. I can tell if there are sparks, and I really don't want to waste our time if there aren't. Tell you what- If I'm feeling attracted to you, I will breathe deep and then alternate blinking both of my eyes while I clap my hands for 15 seconds. If I'm not feeling sparks, I'll throw up. That way you will know for sure.
