'm a down to earth, simple pleasure kind of gal. I'm witty, intelligent, loyal, compassionate, sometimes impatient, passionate, laid back, tolerant, ... I'm not really a "girlie" type of girl...I can leave the house without makeup, not afraid of breaking a nail, etc. I'm a great cook, used to cater, and enter the kitchen with complete abandon. I work full time in a veterinary ER and have my own veterinary skilled nursing/pet hospice business. I love to be outside doing just about anything...a hammock and a good book on a spring day is great! Some days were made to sit in a dark movie with popcorn and someone to cuddle though..or rent and snuggle at home. I enjoy finding great little known places to eat, impromptu adventures where you don't expect them, and I am 99% of the time in a happy mood. Fun is where you find it!!

I'm happy doing just about anything on a date as long as the pace is casual. Dinner and coffee are fine, more fun is having something in the back of your mind that isn't the "usual" first date. Maybe a camera date along the riverparks or downtown with all the art deco structures. Maybe "glow bowling" ... I SUCK at bowling so here's your chance to give me pointers close up. Some fruit, cheese, something to drink and a blanket way out away from the city lites on a clear nite to look at stars. A good flea market on saturday. Browsing through a bookstore together or going to a local museum (we have good ones). It doesn't take lots of bells and whistles to hold my interest.
