A little about me...
Stumbled upon this site and was curious as I'm new to online dating. Single mom/ex-NY'er living in L.A., and (believe it or not) I don't miss it ... not Soho, the nightlife, or even Ray's pizza! I'm a professional writer/artist who loves to laugh, has a great sense of humor, and celebrates life. Though predominantly a right-brain soul, I've found a good balance between my entrepreneurial spirit, business acumen, and being grounded in reality. Love my career, am excited for my future, and would like to spend quality time with someone special. Have had diverse experiences and successes, but my greatest accomplishment is truly my daughter. Not easily impressed, but always smiling!

After an initial meeting to see if we click, my idea of a fun first date includes any of the following ... salsa dancing, rollerblading, the beach, power walking, movies, classical/rock/indie/ alternative/jazz/pop concerts, bumper cars/go-karts, golf lesson, tennis lesson, mini-golf, museums/modern art, hiking, indoor rock climbing, sushi/seafood, comedy clubs, a class/course in something interesting. I'm pretty open and adventurous.

DISLIKES: Smoking, drugs, moderate/heavy drinking, gambling, overweight, messy, anger issues, rudeness, jealousy, self-involved types, overblown sense of entitlement, dating for dating's sake, pushy braggarts, smothering, emotionally needy and the usual - lying, cheating, irresponsibility, slackers, players, etc.
