Ok, here is where I get to talk about me, right? Let's see. I'm pretty much your average guy (I think). I usually keep myself busy doing lots of various things. I enjoy doing just about anything outside from fishing, playing with my dog, or just simply working in the yard. On weekends I'm usually down on the farm where I grew up, visiting a local gun show, watching sports a little (go Cowboy's), or something along those lines. I'm very unassuming, can get along with just about anyone or any group of people. I find people fascinating. What makes them tick, what their story is, what has happened in their lives to cause them to be where they are right now. Please don't take offense to this when/if we meet. I ask lots of question (some may seem to come out of left field).

What I'm looking for? I'm looking for someone without crazy ex's, easy-going, drama free, lively, ect... Must be upbeat, able to get along with just about anyone (including me of course). I love silly giggles, warm smiles, and bubbly personalities.
Must NOT be one of those types that can have their whole day ruined by something someone says or does. What do I mean by that? Basically, don't be one of the perpetual damsel's in distress. Realize that life has ups, and downs, and to have a successful, happy life you have to concentrate on the positive points and not the negative ones. Those negatives will always be there so if you focus on them, your not any fun...lol. If you look like Helen of Troy, but full of negativity, then keep moving. You may have gotten by on your looks when you were in your early 20's, but don't you think it's time to work on the personality a little? Ok...lol..off my soap box hehehe. It would be nice to see a picture of you though. Sorry, without one I definately won't respond.

Looks are important, you have to be attracted (at least on a physical level)to the person your meeting. If I don't respond, please don't take offense, and I won't take offense if you don't respond. I'm a big boy and understand that if you ain't feeling the vibe then really what's the point.

I've never been married, and I don't have kids. One of the down sides to this is that planning way ahead to do stuff really isn't me. I tend to be very spontaneous. I LOVE positive people. Hope you're one. If you have children, then that's ok, I understand that making plans is more of a necessity and I'll do my best. Hmmm....not really sure if I want kids or not. Sort of "undecided" on that. I don't know, I think I may be getting a little too old...lol Back up, what I meant is that your child/children is fine and if things worked out then I'd obviously accept them as my own. I understand that children may be a package deal. I'm just undecided about having a little one of my own (hope that makes sense).

I have a great time regardless of what I'm doing. I like going out and having drinks, but I also enjoy just relaxing at home. You bring the popcorn...lol

OK, one more thing. I have a Jack Russell Terrier. He's hyper, playful, and his energy level can be annoying. He never stops, always fighting one of his many squeak toys that are laying around my house. In the middle of the night I can hear him down in the living room running about playing sometime. So...if you are not into dogs then we will probably not be a match. Check that, we won't be a match because he IS staying.

First dates are tricky. The purpose of a first date is to decide if there is going to be a second. For that reason let's keep it simple. Meet during the day for lunch and if there is going to be a second, or not, then I think we'll both know. Just have fun.
Seems like I've read a couple of profiles from the ladies on here and they'll say something in this section about how the guy should "wow" them, or do something impressive for them. Ummmm....for the first meet and greet from me, you can forget that...lol Seriously though, just because you're wow'ed by the date/meeting doesn't mean you're wow'ed by me. I'd rather you be wow'ed by me, and I wow'ed by you, and then I'll put more effort into wow'ing you by the experience. Otherwise, I'm putting the cart before the horse. Not that you're a horse....ok, I'll shut up now...hehehe.
