Where to begin? I guess.. at the beginning? I'm recently divorced.. 31 years old and I moved to the QC area last December. I've lived in between St. Louis and Springfield for the past four or five years.. but I'm a California girl at heart- born and raised in the Los Angeles area. Any other transplants out there? Let me know. I'm 5'8" and have been told I'm pretty cute..but I believe that looks are fleeting and transitional. I really am attracted to the mind rather than the body..? Hard to explain I suppose. I work hard, play hard, laugh hard and live hard- yet I'm surprisingly soft!

My goal is to finish up school next June.. I want to find someone that "gets" me.. I have a wacky sense of humor and it takes a lot to keep up with me sometimes... I can fit in almost anywhere. I'm multi-faceted.. I've been a receptionist in a law office in Beverly Hills as well as an over the road truck driver and trainer.. my work doesn't define me. More than anything I'd love to sing in a chorale again and be able to support myself doing what I love musically.. if and until then, I work a honest day for a honest wage. I am in transition vocationally.

I'm in the very interesting process of re-defining my life and who I am. I'm getting to know *me* and I'm finding out I'm a pretty groovy chick, all in all.

Music is more important to me than food and water combined. I'm a music major, classically trained and *love* to sing. Bring on the karaoke! I love playing and performing musically.. I love all genres of music and have some definite favorites. I really enjoy concerts and live music, whether it be in a large venue or a dive bar.

I do truly believe that everything happens for a reason. I believe some things end so that better things can happen. I believe people are brought in to our lives for a reason. That being said.. even though I've chosen to be "looking for long term" I'm very open to making friends as well- especially in recovery.

I'd love to actually get to ride on the back of a motorcycle this summer. It's been waaaaaay too long... I love the freedom and feeling myself pressed up against you.. it's intoxicating. I'm not a drinker or smoker but I can hang with the best of them. As I already mentioned, I love to sing.. I like going out and eating and laughing and riding and.. well.. yeah.
