I grew up in the St. Louis area and moved to Richmond, Virginia when I was 24. I lost my job in February and moved back to St. Louis for a new job. I get to play with dirt for a living and most of the time I love it. Work requires me to travel, about 25% of my month is spent in hotels and on the road.

I am fairly independent and do not like to be smothered when I'm dating someone. In turn, I won't smother my partner. I'm not materialistic and don't care what type of car you drive or what you do for a living as long as you are employed and enjoy what you do.

I enjoy being outdoors when the weather is nice and attending sporting events. I like running, theatre, sharing the awesome food I can cook and bake, hiding dead bodies (not related to my cooking), live music, and playing with my adorably crazy mutt named Monday.

I'm slowly adjusting to this cooler weather -- winter doesn't really exist in Richmond.

First dates should be something fun where two people can get to know each other. Putt-Putt Golf, Botanical Gardens, the Zoo... an activity that encourages talking and interaction.
