| | I enjoy talking, running, cooking, reading and writing, being with family and friends, visiting them in other states and countries, and have a seemingly endless interest in psychological and spiritual exploration and healing. I especially like morning and evening and night and am not all that crazy about summer or hot weather although I love being outside- I really like the Fall. I love the mountains and seeing the adaptations of the things that grow there. I am a vegetarian and I don't care much if you are or not.
For music, I like early to "mid" bob dylan, delta blues, leonard cohen, the vaselines, talking heads, james, bollywood, and certainly more. I also write songs and sing and play guitar.
For books I love Robert Walser, Ludmila Ulitskaya, and Bruno Schultz so much it's sometimes unbearable to read their writing, and I often read other things instead.
I have worked in disability services for the past two years and before that in nursing homes and delicatessens. My next projects in life are to find a good place to live for a while with clean air, start a national network of nursing home volunteers, make theater and dance performances, "promote" my music, and give myself to protecting other species. Also to find someone easy to be around, compatible, incredibly precious, and good at doing me. |

I would definitely want to go for a walk in the evening, maybe to a part of town neither of us spend much time in or by the water. Or we could do some work together- if you have something that needs doing like stuffing envelopes or repairing the railing of your mom's back porch, I would be happy to help you with that. Drinks are pretty secondary for me and I'd much rather go without the first couple of times we meet to make sure the basic connection is an easy one. |
