My job mostly requires my undivided attention.I work really hard....both at my job and home. So down times are really important:a day with nothing to do...no one calling my name..sleeping in till 9 o'clock,dinner on the waterfront, pizza and cold beer, a live band,chocolate, flowers just because,a roaring fire,a great book or movie.These are simple pleasures.
Travel, the sun and the beach are always on my mind.I am always planning the next getaway.Very electic taste in music....motown, rock and roll, some country,some classical.
My greatest life accomplishments are my two sons...all grown up...independent, successful gifted young men.
I am a girlie, girl. I love dresses, suits,and heels.But don't let that fool you...I can mostly do for myself...I know how to change a tire, can shovel snow , demo and reinstall a kitchen.I realized early in life, if I could read, I could do anything.A very simple but basic truth.I am constantly reading,"how to".Always have a reno/refinishing project on the go.
As busy and as independent as I am, I truly miss having a partner, a best friend...the person that understands and can make everything right with their presence or their words of wisdom...However, I would be untruthful,if I did not add, I am very wary.Wary, not because life has done me wrong, quite the opposite.Wary because I have lived long enough , have good instincts and common sense....not into people behaving badly
My most favorite city is New Orleans....always feel like I am going home there...don't know why.
What do I look for????
You do not need to be Harvard educated or be a male model.
You need to have your own things....own job, car, accomodations etc.
Really,... not kidding.
I am not into a second motherhood to an adult.
I value honesty,kindness and integrity.It would be wonderful if you had an opinion, without being opinionated.Intelligent conversation always makes my heart go pitter patter.A man who is confident without the sarcasism and arrogance. A man who takes care of himself and has some sense of personal style.Liking the sun,the beach and just being outdoors is a plus.
