My hobbies are various and I am always open to trying most things at least once. However, I am terrified of extreme heights so bungy jumping and sky diving are definitely out of the question. My favorite hobbies are photography and reading. I have won awards for my photography and have a photo published. I want to become a professional wedding photographer and am currently working on starting my own photo studio. I can almost always be found in the company of a good book and wearing my camera around my neck. I also play the clarinet and love to sing (usually when I think I am not being watched). I am a little shy but can be very talkative once you get to know me. I do not care for spectator sports and would rather join in the game though I am not to good at most of them. Oh and I despise NASCAR. I enjoy intelligent coversation and can hold my own in most any intellectual debate. I am also a huge sci-fi fan and just love Star-Trek. My friends and family would describe me as intelligent, sweet, good listener, talented, artistic, honest, loyal, dependable, stubborn, opinionated, independent, and a homebody. I love all music, from classical to rap, and especially anything with a decent beat that I can dance to.

A first date for me should be one that allows you to get to know one another without all the pressure that most people feel. It should be one that is fun and doesn't require you to get all fancied up just to impress someone. I would have to say maybe a hike or horseback ride through a nature preserve, followed by a picnic under the stars.
