I like eclectic things such as different cuisines and types of music. My two favorite kinds of music are classical and alternative rock; sometimes played Bach to back just to keep me interested. Classic rock makes my playlist as well. Huge fan of coffee (hence my screen name), not so much the lattes etc.,just good, satisfying, well-made, and black. Movies that make one think are typically my favorites, but I can indulge in some outright silliness depending on my mood. The superficial bores me quickly (I have mostly given up television for this reason). I would rather read a poorly written book than watch an excellent TV show. Delving deeper is one of my reasons for living. I take satisfaction in a job well done, whether that be at my job or something simple like having my omelet turn out the way I wanted. Seeing the sunrise or set will amaze me until my dying day. I admire people who are good at what they do. I love animals, which is one of the reasons I am a vegetarian. Two cats share (rule) my home.

Keeping things simple and low key. Meeting to chat over coffee is a good icebreaker. Doing something light which gets me to know the other person better is, I think, the best start.
