I am a person who truly loves her job. I love working with kids and watching their minds grow as the school year passes. They keep me on my toes and inspire me to keep learning and growing right along with them.

Giving back to the community is something I have began to get more and more involved with. I truly believe community service is something we all need to do. Not just writing a check and passing it along, but rather giving of yourself. It all comes back to us in one way or another.

I enjoy spending time in my yard tending the plants that are happily growing in my shade gardens. I am always on the hunt for new shade plants and rethinking the current gardens and what new ones that could be created. New garden centers always get my attention.

I have a great group of friends. It is great to spend time with them whether it be going to dinner and a movie, a wine tasting or Gray's Lake for a walk around the lake.

I have a great extended family that I am very close too. It is nice to have the closeness and security that family brings.

I have recently gotten back into working out. It has been rewarding watching the changes that go along with this. The desire to get to the gym and the changing intensity it brings with it.

The first date makes most people a little anxious. I enjoy meeting at a bookstore or a coffee shop. It is an easy place to talk and get acquainted.

Another option would be a weekend lunch. A late lunch allows for the crowd to be gone, leaving a much quieter atmosphere to talk and get to know each other. Many times the wait staff will even leave you alone as they are trying to organize the place for the dinner rush.
