I'm an RN with eclectic musical tastes. On any given day, I may listen to a range of Jackie Gleason to Meat Loaf, Louie Prima to Enya, AC/DC to the Dropkick Murphys, Garth Brooks to Django Rinehardt, however, there is no rap/hip hop in my home! I enjoy fixing/building computers and networks for my friends and am slowly restoring a 1953 Ford in my spare time. I suppose you could consider being a homeowner a hobby as well, since I'm always fixing stuff here (I don't care for plumbing, but have learned it out of self-defense.) I'm not a sports fan, although being a native Kansas Citian, I will sit through a Royals or Chiefs game now and then. Favorite authors would include Gustav Eckstein and Theodore Geisel. Oh, and I do have long hair usually pulled back in a ponytail...you just can't see that in any of my pictures.

A first date? I suppose it would largely depend on where you live and the time of year. Perhaps a walk around Weston, maybe taste some wine at Pirtle's and have a light lunch there (weather permitting). Maybe the deck at O'Dowd's Little Dublin and a walk around the Plaza or Saturday live jazz in North Kansas City followed by lunch at Chappel's or First Watch. I'm open and sensitive to your suggestions as well, since that dreaded "first date" can be a bit stressful.
