What about me? It's a good thing i'm so chocked full of AWESOME or it might have been hard to write this. 

Just kidding. Why is it so hard to write about yourself? I sat here and wondered what would somebody want to hear about me?
Well, I'm smart, witty, funny and tall. Well, thank my mom and dad for the whole being tall thing, everything else is all me. 

I love to read and write, and I also love the outdoors. (I know, usually those hobbies exclude each other) but I could be equally happy doing either. 

I listen to just about anything, but I tend to steer towards rock, metal and Alternative.  Lacuna Coil, Theory of a Deadman and Seether come to mind. 

I love starbucks, I go there on a somewhat regular basis with my laptop to do some writing, and have a close source of coffee ;) it's weird, but coffee isn't as good when you make it at home.

I'm very honest, very open and very blunt when I need to be. If you want an honest answer, you'll get it. 

What am I looking for? You know, that's hard to narrow down too. I like intelligence, a great sense of humor and a happy demeanor. 

I'm looking for somebody that I can share my joys with, someone who would love to pick up and go hiking or running, or just sit in a Starbucks and drink overpriced coffee.

I'm borderline ridiculously tall, so I tend to navigate towards women that are 5'5" and taller... but not a dealbreaker. I'm just one of those guys that thinks that it's somewhat odd to see a 6'5" giant with a 4'10" girlfriend. 

If you message me, I'll respond when I can. One thing I can guarantee is I'll be honest. Most people can't explain what is attractive to them, you just know it when you see it. 

  Just know that if you aren't somebody that I think would be right for me, I don't mean it personally. I just need to feel that spark of attraction, and if it's not there I don't want to waste your time. 
 
A couple of serious dealbreakers for me:

1. I'm in the army, and I have 13 years until I retire. I'm not getting out of the military before then, know that up front.    

2. No drugs, (the illegal type) Do whatever makes you happy, but I'm in a profession where being around illegal drugs just isn't an option. 

3. No drama. I won't bring any to you, please don't bring it to me. If you know you are jealous, or enjoy loud shouting matches for no particular reason then just move along, I don't play those games and I don't get into relationships that involve them. 

4. Must have your own vehicle, own income, not wanted by the police. Oh, and if you put sweaters and stuff on your animals there is something horribly imbalanced in your brain. Just saying. 

That's pretty much it in a nutshell.

On a final note, I spent 7 years in the Marine Corps, got out and worked for the Department of Homeland Security as a Supervisor for 4 years but I missed the Military life, so reenlisted in the Army. 

I'm going to be doing a cross country road trip from now until the 4th of January when I head to Fort Campbell, going from California to Oregon, then up to Washington then over to Texas and finally stopping for good in Kentucky ;)

What do do on a first date? It really depends on how much time you've spent talking to the person and how comfortable you feel with them.

Coffee at Starbucks is about the safest, most comfortable thing I can think of. If things go well, then dinner is usually followed after and if that goes great then you can do whatever sounds like fun later.
