well, i'm nothing if not honest. i have, in the past, been too much so... but at the ripe old age of 45, i have learned to be more diplomatic when stating my thoughts. i grew a filter! granted it took longer than some to develop, but at least i got one before death.

i think well, have a sense of other's sentiments/beliefs/opinions as important (generally, i'm not a complete relativistic fluff-head), i know what i don't know, love ideas, thinking, theories, science, good comedy, music in all its forms (very important), being in shape (i exercise regularly for numerous benefits), ski when it is cold/motorcycle when it's not so cold. i love a good meal (like every other human). i have a lot of old friends who are not even friends any longer, but a composite of family and friends... lets call them framily, for lack of a better term (has this been used before? it sounds familiar.).

so... here's the grist: i'm an adult. i've had a wide array of kinds of relationships with women and i'm no stranger to the travails of dating, love, and sex. i'm pretty open when it comes to what can develop, but at this point in my life i'd really like to be done with dating and just find someone to stick to... not like a tick, but more like nice tick. does this make sense? i hope so.

we'd meet in a public place so i'll be assured that you won't attack me.

something simple really; a dinner, drink, walk, or some music. once i planned one of those music cruises with cajun food and diesel fumes from the boat. we both turned green.
