I am searching for a serious relationship and it seems to be exceedingly difficult to find. Here's some random things about me:

*I work mostly 2nd shift and don't like the bars. That's mainly why I'm here.
*I collect guns, but I don't hunt. I'm not against it by any means, just not personally interested in hunting. I do like to go target shooting sometimes though.
*I watch mostly food network, travel channel, and history channel even though I rarely cook or travel. I do want to do more of both in the future.
*I love history, particularly U.S. history from Civil War era to present.
*I'm very conservative on politics, doubt I'd ever vote for a liberal.
*I like almost any movie except scary/horror.
*I have a sarcastic sense of humor which often comes across as mean to people not accustomed to it.
*I own my home and am financially stable. No long term debt other than house/car.
*I'm very honest and often people think me a jerk for saying what I mean.
*I'll watch the Packers if I'm not working on game day, but don't really have much of an interest in sports. Weird for a guy, I know.

I typically like to get together for dinner and conversation for a first date. I love movies, but want a chance to get to know someone while we have the time rather than not being able to talk during a movie. I like going for walks as well whenever I have company so that is always an option as well.
